Withdrawal Guidelines
Withdrawal Policy
The following rules and guidelines must be kept in mind regarding the withdrawal of a student from Mnemonic Convent School:
1.Notice Requirement:
A written notice of one calendar month must be provided before withdrawing a student. Alternatively, parents can pay one month's fees instead of such notice.
2.May Withdrawal:
Students leaving the school in May are required to pay the fees for June, regardless of their departure.
3.Clearance of Dues:
Transfer certificates will not be issued unless all dues of the school are cleared.
4.Reasons for Withdrawal or Expulsion:
The school reserves the right to ask a student to leave on the following grounds: Disciplinary issues (as per school policy) Unsatisfactory academic progress Detention or repeated detention in the same class
5.Retention Criteria:
Only students who are eligible to take the school leaving examination and are under 18 years of age will be retained in the school rolls.
6.Failure and Repeated Detention:
A student who fails twice in the same class, especially if below average, will not be allowed to continue their studies at the school.
7.Exemption from Notice Fee:
If a withdrawal is due to the reasons mentioned above (disciplinary issues, academic failure, etc.), the one-month notice fee will not be applicable.
